
Sunday was marked by an epic water sports event, the first edition of the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint. Despite concerns about the weather, the competition was an incredible success, with athletes facing waves and breathtaking challenges.
We were hoping for improved weather conditions for this afternoon. Unfortunately, the waves continue to rise, and today's event cannot be conducted safely.
Due to the bad weather, this morning's races will not take place.
Today has been an exciting day with the opening ceremony of the first edition of the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint. The beach has transformed into a stage of celebration and competition, with athletes from all over the world ready to compete in the Beach Sprint races.
Due to the inclement weather posing safety concerns for the 'Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint,' decisions regarding the race program were made today during the Team Managers' meeting and an executive committee meeting.
Coach Marc Oria, PhD., served as the presenter at the Informational Conference on Coastal Rowing held at the Donoratico Sailing Club.
